BC Rugby’s 2022 Provincial Regional Championships photo gallery is now live!
The 2022 PRCs saw three days of action-packed youth Rugby take place at UBC’s Gerald McGavin Rugby Centre on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nation.
The tournament made a welcome return to the BC Rugby calendar for the first time since 2019 and featured 47 regional teams and around 1000 players vying for glory across six divisions.
Teams from Vancouver Rugby Union (VRU), Vancouver Island Rugby Union (VIRU Tide), North Vancouver Island Rugby Union (NIVRU Tsunami), Fraser Valley Rugby Union (FVRU) and the Thompson and Okanagan Rugby Alliance (TORA) competed in front of 1500 spectators amid a festival-like atmosphere over the long weekend.
