BC Bears Senior Teams
The BC Bears Senior Men’s and Women’s teams pit the best of British Columbia Rugby against other provinces, representative sides, and professional teams. While the BC Bears name was officially launched in 2009, and used solely for the Senior Men’s team, the Province of British Columbia has a rich Rugby history and has been represented by Provincial Teams for well over a century. Many BC Bears athletes have gone on to play both professionally, and for the Canadian National Teams!
Through the years, our Senior teams have toured, hosted, and played some of the world’s biggest and best Rugby teams including Australia, New Zealand, England, and the British & Irish Lions.

Build a Bear Camps will return on July 26-31 2026 for U15 Boys and Girls athletes.
Following the success of last year’s Build a Bear Development Camps, athletes will again be invited through regional nominations in 2026. This Camp has proven to be an excellent environment for developing positional understanding and core skillsets, with specialty Coaches delivering position-specific expertise.
For 2026, we also plan to extend invitations to Regional and Club Coaches interested in developing their knowledge of coaching technical and positional skills, providing an opportunity for them to observe expert technical coaches delivering sessions to U15 Bears athletes throughout the week.
