Manager, Business Operations
BC Rugby is seeking a full-time Manager, Business Operations to join the team.
The Manager, Business Operations is a member of the senior leadership team and reports directly to the CEO. This position closely supports the CEO in managing the organization’s finances and business operations. This position has day-to-day responsibilities for managing financial operations, budgeting, financial reporting, banking and audit support.
This position is challenged with a broad portfolio as BC Rugby aims to diversify its revenue sources and efficiently manage its resources to support program growth identified in the BC Rugby Strategic Plan. It will support the CEO in the organization’s efforts to raise capital through sponsorships, partnerships, grants and donors to ensure the financial sustainability of BC Rugby.
The preferred candidate has excellent organizational skills, strong financial literacy and experience working in a self-directed office. Skills and experience in fundraising and revenue generation are desirable and will support the successful achievement of this position’s objectives.

Medical Staff for BC Rugby Events and Programs
BC Rugby is continually recruiting medical staff for our various events and programs that run throughout the year.
We are looking to increase our pool of medical staff from all professions to support our events. These staff will contribute to our Strategic Pillar of Protect Wellbeing which focuses on player safety. Our medical staff will be invited to support our various events and programs and will be remunerated for their time at events at a pre-determined rate. Other costs may be covered dependent on the event.

RUGBY OPPORTUNITIES IN BC
Coaches Wanted – Scribes RFC
Scribes RFC are currently searching for coaches for their Senior Men’s and Women’s teams and encourage all interested applicants to apply.
Our Senior teams train Monday and Wednesday nights in East Vancouver with games Saturdays. Our season runs September to April with a short break over the winter. With our Club motto being “For the love of the game” Scribes are a club that prides itself on playing strong Rugby while also making sure it remains an enjoyable experience to be a part of for our players and Members.
We are searching for knowledgeable coaches who can bring a fun environment for our players to learn and grow within. We have a great group of players eager to learn and a supportive environment for a new coach to step into. Our Senior coach roles are paid positions and we will provide ongoing support including offering coaching courses, additional gear and optional facilities for training.

Senior Women’s Head Coach – United Rugby Club
United Rugby Club is looking to add a Senior Women’s Head Coach who will work closely with the assistant coach, women’s director and the team captain to ensure growth, competition, and community within the team.
United Rugby was established in 2005 as the product of the merger of two established clubs, Douglas and Pocomo RFC. United seeks to provide an unequivocal choice for all rugby players in the Tri-Cities and New Westminster by providing comprehensive and dynamic programs for men and women of all ages and abilities.
