Rugby Services Coordinator – Insurance and Sanctioning (Rugby Canada)

Rugby Canada is the national sport organisation for Rugby union committed to delivering life-long, inclusive Rugby experiences that cultivate participation and inspire excellence from community to club to country.

Working closely with the Director of Rugby Development the Rugby Services Coordinator will assume this key role as a member of the Rugby Development team and provide administrative support to Rugby Canada’s operations. The Rugby Services Coordinator will work in collaboration with key stakeholders including but not limited to Rugby Canada staff, Provincial Union staff and the Rugby Community.

BC Grassroots Rugby Foundation Positions (Canada Summer Jobs)

Thanks to funding from Canada Summer Jobs, BC Grassroots Rugby Foundation is recruiting 30 coaches to deliver programming in Victoria, Saanich, Langford, Cowichan, Port Alberni, Comox, Nanaimo and Kelowna this summer.

Recruited coaches will be provided a free NCCP Level 1 Coaching Course, granted and delivered by BC Rugby.

BC Grassroots Rugby Foundation is also recruiting another 16 positions to support the administration and delivery of programs at all the above locations.

Head Coach – Women’s Program (Castaway Wanderers)

Castaway Wanderers is seeking a Head coach for its Senior Women’s program for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

This position is responsible for overall coaching direction and leadership with the senior women’s team. The Head Coach is expected to lead at least coaching 2 coaching sessions per week and lead the team in League participation for the 2021/22 season.

This role will report to the Director of Rugby for Castaway Wanderers. Honoraria will be considered for this position commensurate with experience of the successful candidate. CW Executives are asking for a 2-year commitment to the program.

Rugby Coach – 2021/22 Men’s Program (Westshore RFC)

Westshore RFC are looking for a rugby Coach for the 2021/22 Men’s program. We are looking for a coach who demonstrates strong leadership qualities while following Westshore’s core values of: Accountability, Community, Discipline, Enjoyment, Respect, Sportsmanship, Teamwork.

Responsibilities: Guide the Men’s Rugby program in the BCRU Premier league including but not limited to: overseeing the development of effective practice and game plans, support of fundraising, & support potential players recruiting.
