The 2025 BC Rugby Age-Grade Club Finals are set for this Sunday, December 7, at Willoughby Stadium at the Langley Events Centre – here’s your guide to all the action!
Get ready for four thrilling Provincial Finals as the Lower Mainland and Island’s best clash for age-grade bragging rights. With Championship matchups in the U16 Boys, U16 Girls, U18 Boys and U18 Girls Divisions, it’s shaping up to be a full day of fast-paced, hard-hitting rugby.
Abbotsford RFC, James Bay AA and Castaway Wanderers each have two teams aiming to secure a historic double, while the UBCOB Ravens looks to reclaim the U18 Boys crown. Who will be lifting trophies come Sunday evening?

Location: Willoughby Stadium – Langley Events Centre – 7888 200 St, Langley Twp, BC V2Y 3J4
Dates: Sunday, December 7, 2025
Washrooms: These are located throughout the stadium – look out for the signposts.
Concessions: There will be concessions open at the stadium
Merchandise: There will be a limited amount of BC Rugby and Rugby Canada merchandise available at the event
Parking: Parking is available at the stadium.
WEATHER/CANCELLATION PROTOCOL
Weather Advisory and Cancellation Protocol: Rain and snow can be forecast leading up to and including the Age-Grade Finals Day, BC Rugby will monitor the situation accordingly. Safety is always the primary concern, and we might be forced to make a tough decision at late notice.
In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather or any other unforeseen event, champions may not be able to be determined. This is unless teams agree to rearrange and play out the championship fixture at another venue within 10 days of the original date, in which case BC Rugby will honor the result of the replayed match.
BC Rugby will endeavor to communicate any cancellation to Clubs as quickly as possible after a decision is made.
SCHEDULE, AWARDS & LIVESTREAM
Schedule: The schedule for all Finals can be found below.
- 10:30am – U16 Girls Final: Abbotsford RFC vs James Bay AA
- 12:30pm – U16 Boys Final: Capilano RFC vs. Castaway Wanderers
- 2:15pm – U18 Girls Final: Abbotsford RFC vs. James Bay AA
- 4:15pm – U18 Boys Final: UBCOB Ravens vs. Castaway Wanderers
Pre & Post Match Timelines
- 5 mins pre-KO: All Teams must be on the field
- Full-time: Shake hands, Runners-up & Winners Presentations on Field
Warm-up Areas: Teams are asked to warm up away from the fields and in the end zones until the full field is available.
Medal Presentations: Award presentations will take place IMMEDIATELY AFTER EACH FINAL on the field in front of the spectators’ stand. Medals will be presented to both the winning team and the runner-up.

In the event of being unable to stream to YouTube, we will record the matches on the VEO Cams and upload to YouTube afterwards.
