The largest youth Rugby 7s tournament in Canada returns on September 20-21, 2025 at McArthur Island Park in Kamloops, British Columbia.
Registration for the event is now open – head to our new Kamloops 7s website to register your team for the 2025 event! The new website features all tournament and hotel information, and will be the home for all fixtures and results in a simple, easy-to-follow format.
For BC U18 & U16 Athletes, BC Rugby will also be hosting a free Athlete Combine on Friday, September 19. Athletes will spend an hour with BC Rugby Staff & Coaches, going through multiple standardized sub-maximal & maximal testing. The purpose of this combine is to pre-identify athletes for BC Bears 7s teams. Players are asked to bring suitable footwear and garments for field running, jumping.

The Kamloops 7s is the largest youth Rugby 7s tournament in Canada and attracts teams from across the province and beyond. Specifically designed for Girls’ and Boys’ teams in the U14-U18 categories, the tournament delivers fun, action-packed games in a picturesque setting. Taking place over two days, the tournament is a fantastic celebration of emerging youth Rugby talent.
The 2024 event saw a record 121 teams and 1500 athletes compete a total of 307 games across 10 Divisions and 10 fields – our largest event of the year!
Whether competing in our Open or Elite Divisions, attendees can expect a fun-filled weekend of action! Merchandise featuring the new Kamloops 7s logo will also be available to buy at the event.
With demand for places high, Teams are advised to register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
