Canada’s biggest youth Rugby 7s tournament is BACK!
BC Rugby is pleased to confirm that the Kamloops 7s will return to McArthur Island Park on September 19-20, 2026, bringing one of British Columbia’s Premier Rugby events back to the Tournament Capital.
Teams from across the province and beyond will once again gather in Kamloops for a weekend of exciting Rugby 7s, community celebration, and competition at one of Canada’s leading sport hosting venues.
Team registration for the 2026 Kamloops 7s will officially open this Wednesday, June 24. Clubs and teams are encouraged to register early to secure their place in what promises to be another memorable edition of the tournament.

Please note an important policy update for 2026 to U14 Banding – only BC teams will be able to register for U14 Divisions.

ABOUT KAMLOOPS 7s
The Kamloops 7s is the largest youth Rugby 7s tournament in Canada and attracts teams from across the province and beyond. Specifically designed for Girls’ and Boys’ teams in the U14-U18 categories, the tournament delivers fun, action-packed games in a picturesque setting. Taking place over two days, the tournament is a fantastic celebration of emerging youth Rugby talent.
The 2025 event saw a record 128 teams and 1600 athletes compete across 10 Divisions and 10 fields – our largest event of the year!
Whether competing in our Open or Elite Divisions, attendees can expect a fun-filled weekend of action! Merchandise will also be available to buy at the event.
