BC Rugby can confirm that the match result from the 2024/25 BC Rugby Senior Men’s Division 1 Semifinal between James Bay AA and Nanaimo Hornets RFC has been defaulted due to James Bay AA rostering ineligible players.
As per Rules 5.4 and 6.7 of the BC Rugby Senior Rules of Competition, James Bay AA has been deemed to have defaulted the match and Nanaimo Hornets RFC will advance to the Final against Burnaby Lake RFC in Abbotsford on Saturday, May 3, 2025.
Both Clubs have been notified of the decision.
