The BC Rugby community is invited to celebrate the life of former Capilano RFC president and BC Rugby Representative player Bucky Ellison this Saturday, August 13, 2022.

The Celebration of Life for Bucky Ellison will be held at the Capilano Rugby Club at 1:00pm. The address is 1910 Glenaire Drive, North Vancouver, BC, V7P 1Y1.

Bucky was an original Capilano and the first scrum half for the Club. He played many representative matches for North/West Vancouver Reps and for the BC Rugby Provincial Team.

He was the second President of the Capilano Rugby Club, and was always a huge supporter of Rugby at Klahanie Park. Bucky was truly a Capilano for life.

Please share the date and time with all those in your community and who knew Bucky. Dress for the event is “summer casual.”

Speeches will be made from the main field with all guests in the grandstands.

Capilano RFC hopes to see a large turnout of Capilano Members and the wider Rugby community to pay tribute to a Capilano legend.
