Tickets are now on sale for Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team’s Pacific Nations Cup match against Japan at BC Place in Vancouver on August 25, 2024.
This will mark the fifth time that BC Place has hosted an international test match, and the first time Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team has played in Vancouver since 2019. Japan is currently ranked 14th in the world, and last met Canada in 2016, also at BC Place.
This match will help kick off the reimagined Pacific Nations Cup, a new annual tournament contested between Canada, Japan, the United States, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. Announced last fall , the Pacific Nations Cup provides Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team with a guaranteed annual fixture on home soil as the program builds towards qualification for the 2027 Rugby World Cup.
Tickets start at $30 plus taxes and fees, with ticket options including club and fieldside seating.
Following the match in Vancouver, Canada will travel to Los Angeles to play the United States on August 31. All teams, including the Pool A nations of Fiji, Tonga and Samoa, then go to Japan for the play-offs. Tokyo will host the semi-finals and fifth place play-off over September 14 and 15, while Osaka will host the final and third place play-off over September 21 to 22.
