BC’s Sophie De Goede has been named Captain for Canada’s Senior Women’s 15s Roster set to face Italy on July 24th, in what will be their first home international test match in seven years.
The Senior Women’s Team will face the Italians on Sunday at Starlight Stadium in Langford, BC, home of Rugby Canada, kicking off at 3:00 pm Pacific.
Also named to the Roster is Cowichan RFC’s Tyson Beukeboom (Uxbridge, ON), Capilano RFC’s Gillian Boag (Calgary, AB), Westshore RFC’s Paige Farries (Red Deer, AB) and Elissa Alarie (Trois-Rivieres, QC), and Castaway Wanderers’ Julia Schell (Uxbridge, ON) and Gabrielle Senft (Regina, SK).
