BC Rugby is delighted to announce the TWO winning entries for our 2026 Design a Rugby Jersey presented by O’Neills competition that will be used to inspire the 2026 U15 Build a Bear U15 Jerseys!

Congratulations to Leila Picard (United Rugby) and Samantha Grewal (Abbotsford RFC) for submitting the winning designs!

With over 25 designs submitted, we would like to thank everyone who entered the competition – keep your eyes peeled for more competitions throughout the year!

Our winning entries were designed by:

• Samantha Grewal (Abbotsford RFC)

Following last year’s competition as part of our 2025 #GirlsCanRugby campaign, BC Rugby teamed up once again with O’Neills Sportswear North America to run the competition.

Young athletes were encouraged to design a Rugby training jersey, with the winning entries used as inspiration for two jerseys that will be given to U15 Build a Bear Camp participants.

Leila and Samantha will now see their creations come to life when they are modelled by U15 athletes this coming summer!
