Taking place over Zoom on June 8^th, 2021 at 6:00pm, USA Rugby Education Manager Jamie McGregor joins us as we explore the latest evolutions around Player Welfare.

We will discuss how the process for head contact, high tackles and dangerous play has evolved recently and how it will likely look at community level as we plan to return to on-field, contact Rugby in BC.

Jamie will take us through previous guidelines and compare them to what is happening now, by challenging participants to make decisions on a variety of video clips.

We will review how we can best refine how we arrive at our decisions so that we may best prepare ourselves for a safe and enjoyable return to contact Rugby later this year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for all stakeholders – Players, Coaches and Administrators alike – to get involved and get on the same page.

The Head Contact Process will look a bit different at Community level as compared to televised matches. We are all responsible for making sure the game is understandable and, most importantly, safe for everyone.
