ABOUT HSBC SVNS VANCOUVER 

HSBC SVNS Vancouver is a three-day indoor rugby sevens tournament, hosted February 23-25, 2024 at the world-class BC Place Stadium, host venue to Canada’s most prestigious events, and will feature 24 of the world’s top women’s and men’s sevens teams. Vancouver Sevens is part of the global HSBC SVNS series. Sevens rugby, a fast-paced and shorter version of traditional rugby with only seven players per side, has built a huge international audience through the success of HSBC SVNS (formerly HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series) and its inclusion in the Olympics, which attracts large audiences in markets around the world. The 2024 HSBC SVNS series kicked off on December 2, 2023, in Dubai. 

ABOUT RUGBY CANADA 

Rugby Canada is the national governing body of the sport of Rugby Union in Canada. They administer and operate Men’s and Women’s Senior and Junior National programs in both rugby 15s and 7s, as well as govern the Club and community game for more than 30,000 registered participants from coast to coast in conjunction with ten Provincial Union members. 

Rugby Canada is headquartered at the Al Charron National Training Center in Langford, BC, residing on the unceded territories of the Coast Salish and Lekwungen/Songhees peoples, with staff also working from Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City. Rugby Canada business operations, programs and events are delivered nationwide, including the internationally recognized HSBC SVNS Vancouver annual tournament.
