12 Indigenous youth aged between the ages of 14-18 will have a unique opportunity to gain valuable insight into the sports industry, courtesy of HSBC.
HSBC’s World of Opportunity Program takes place on April 14-15, 2022 at Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium and Trillium Park on the traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in workshops spanning a variety of topics, including:
- Journalism
- Coaching
- Sports management
- Event management and operations
- Communications and Marketing
- Team Leadership
Applicants must be:
- Be passionate about sport
- Interested in a career within sport/open to hearing the range of careers available in the industry
- between the ages of 14-18
- Available April 14, 2022 from 3:00pm onwards and April 15, 2022 from 8:00am to 1:00pm (times subject to change)

Interested applicants should email HSBCSevens@hkstrategies.com providing their name and a short paragraph on why this program interests them by April 1, 2022.
If total number of nominations exceeds the number of program spots, nominees will be randomly selected from the pool of entrants.
