Sessions cost $25 each.
The UBC Clinic will take place on Sunday, November 24 and Wednesday, November 27. The UVIC Clinic takes place on Friday, November 29.
Daniel Milton Bio
Daniel is a Senior Lecturer in Sports Coaching and Physical Education in the Cardiff School of Sport and Health Sciences. He spent 18 years coaching, Director of Rugby and Head of the Cardiff Met RFC Men’s Performance programme playing in the BUCS Super Rugby and WRU National Championship. Catering to over 350 rugby players and 12 teams the performance programme at Cardiff Met was dubbed a ‘breeding ground for test match rugby’ by Eddie Jones with the likes of Alex Dombrandt, Luke Northmore, Aaron Wainwright and many others to the professional game.
Daniel teaches across the physical education, coaching and performance analysis modules. He is a Level 4 qualified coach and coach educator and formerly worked as the WRU National 18’s attack coach. He is currently delivering on the WRU coaching qualifications.
He completed his PhD working with Birmingham University and Sport Wales on a collaborative research project around motivation and Empowering principles.
UBC CLINIC:
Session 1: Sunday, November 24, 2024:
- 1:00pm – 2:00pm: Indoor looking at a skills curriculum
- 3:00pm – 4:30pm: On-field
- 5:00pm – 5:30pm: Q&A (and see if anyone wants to discuss a certain topic for session two)
Session 2: Wednesday, November 27, 2024:
- 6:00pm – 8:30pm: Indoor reviewing session one on field and Q&A/discuss topics raised from session one
UVIC CLINIC:
Friday, November 29, 2024:
- 4:00pm – 6:00pm Skills Development
- Final information will be emailed to participants 24 hours prior to start time and day
