Emily Findlay scored her second try of the match for Westshore RFC to reduce the deficit, but the Thunderbirds hit back with three further tries to cement victory. Westshore RFC scored another at the final whistle, but by that time the damage was done.

The Rowers scored two converted tries and a penalty to Capilano’s lone first half try to lead 17-5 at the break.
A Rowing Club red card let the Caps back in, as they pressed to reduce the deficit to 17-15. However, Rowers recovered their composure and scored two unanswered tries to but the game beyond doubt.
A late Capilano consolation reduced the deficit but it was Rowers who deserved it on the day.

Capilano RFC, meanwhile, finished fourth in the regular season standing with 13 wins and three losses over the course of the year.
