Rugby fans are in for a treat as BC Rugby brings an exciting Premier League double header under the lights to UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium in Vancouver on Friday, November 28.

This special Friday night showcase will see the Thunderbirds take on Meraloma RFC in both BC Rugby Men’s and Women’s Premier League action, promising two thrilling matches back-to-back under the floodlights.

The Women’s Premier League match will kick off at 7:00pm, followed by the Men’s Premier League clash at 8:30pm.

Admission is free, and fans are encouraged to come out and enjoy a fantastic evening of top-tier Rugby in Vancouver. Refreshments will be available throughout the night.

The fixture marks a new initiative, designed to showcase the energy, athleticism and community spirit of BC’s top-level Rugby in a showcase event. With two talented clubs going head-to-head in a lively stadium setting, the atmosphere is set to be electric.

Following this event, BC Rugby plans to extend the initiative for the 2026/27 Senior Club Season with further match-ups on Vancouver Island and in the Fraser Valley.
