ABOUT THE SESSIONS
BC Rugby is looking to identify all eligible athletes born 2007, 2008 and 2009 for its BC Bears Elite Boys 7s Program.
Sessions will be hosted on both the Mainland and Vancouver Island, with athletes only required to attend one session. Sessions will cost $20 with fees helping to offset field hire.
“These two initial BC Bears 7s Talent ID & Development Sessions will act as a starting point for identifying our player pool of young male athletes and growing them into competing for The BC Bears U18 7s programming in the coming years. We hope there will be enough interest to be able to create further regional training groups that we can be support with 7s Coaching and some internal game development opportunities towards trialing and selecting U16 & U18 Bears teams to then take to future National and International competitions. All with the goal of supporting BC athletes and coaches towards future Senior National 7s Team selections.” BC Rugby Technical Director John Tait
ALL athletes MUST pre-register for the session they wish to attend.
All athletes are advised to bring suitable footwear, as well as their own snacks and water. Please dress accordingly for the weather and make sure you have cold/rain clothing available.
