BC Rugby is excited to announce that volunteer registration is now open for the 2025 Kamloops 7s, taking place at McArthur Island Park on September 20-21, 2025.

As the largest youth 7s rugby festival in Canada, Kamloops 7s brings together thousands of athletes, coaches, and fans for a weekend of thrilling rugby action. None of it would be possible without the dedication and support of volunteers who help make the event run smoothly.

What to Expect

Volunteers will receive details of their role before the event and a short orientation onsite before their shift. From helping at the merchandise tent to assisting with field setup, there’s a role for everyone to get involved and contribute to the atmosphere.

Volunteer Roles Include:

• Merch Tent Sales – Assist BC Rugby staff with merchandise sales (includes a free hoodie!)
• Score Runners – Collect and relay scores between match officials and event HQ
• Site Assistants – Help keep the venue clean and safe for players and fans
• Score Inputters – Assisting BC Rugby Staff inputting scores into our tournament system
• Field Setup & Takedown – Support with setting up/taking down tents, signage, post pads, and more
