BC Rugby community – we need YOU!
Alongside our friends at Thunder Rugby Club, we’re looking for volunteers to support our joint fundraising efforts through the HSBC Canada Sevens Vancouver 50/50 draw.
We need positive, confident volunteers to sell 50/50 Draw tickets at BC Place on Saturday September 18 or Sunday September 19 (or both!)
Are you fast on your feet, quick with a smile and ready to go the extra mile to sell tickets? Then why not apply below!
In return, you will get to enjoy exclusive access to the HSBC Canada Sevens Vancouver tournament, as well as a free meal and t-shirt to take home. All while raising funds to make our great sport more accessible and enjoyable for young people, especially Indigenous youth.
ALL volunteers must be 19+ years old.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Volunteers will work a 4-hour shift: the first 30 minutes will be training and preparation followed by 3 hours of selling, to be broken up with a scheduled 30-minute break.
Volunteers will work in pairs, with one person selling the lottery tickets and the other taking electronic payments. NB: No cash sales are being permitted by BC Place.
Make sure you bring your ‘A’ game as there will be a host of prizes awarded at the end of each shift!
CAN I WATCH THE RUGBY?
Yes! There is plenty of Rugby action and 50/50 volunteers will be able to watch games BEFORE and AFTER their shifts.
While a schedule of play is yet to be confirmed, matches are tentatively set to get underway at 10:00am and conclude around 7:00pm both days.
