The Island Blues earned the bragging rights with a 44-38 win following an action-packed, end-to-end spectacle at Victoria’s Wallace Field on May 20.
In front of a healthy crowd, both teams put on an impressive showing of free-flowing Rugby, which resulted in a high-scoring game for supporters.
Teams now have 10 days to prepare for Game 2 of the Series, which takes place at UBC’s Vancouver campus on Saturday, June 3 at 1:00pm PT.
Game 2 will also be open to the public and free to watch – make sure you get down there and watch BC’s top Rugby talent in action!
