The Indigenous Youth Rugby event, ‘We Scrum as One’, is back in Vancouver, featuring Rugby skills workshops, team activities, catered meals and free admission to Day 2 of HSBC Canada Sevens!
In tandem with the HSBC Canada Sevens tournament and hosted by HSBC Bank Canada, the Indigenous Canadian Employee Resource Group (ICErg) and BC Rugby, ‘We Scrum as One’ gives Indigenous youth athletes from across the Province an opportunity to come together to participate in two days of learning, inspiration and sport.
Participation is open to Indigenous youth between the ages of 10-17 and will connect athletes with professional players, opportunities for talent identification, and the chance to enjoy a weekend of community engagement and fun!

- Meet your team over lunch catered by Salmon n Bannock Bistro
- Improve your game at the Rugby Skills Clinic
- Community Dinner (Salishan Catering), Awards Ceremony and Panel Discussion “A Life in Sport”

Time: 9:00am onwards

- Attend the second day of the HSBC Canada Sevens Series (includes a general admission ticket and food voucher)
