UBC Thunderbirds and UVIC Vikes headed to Kingston, Ontario
Good luck to BC’s UBC Thunderbirds and University of Victoria Vikes teams battling it out at the 2021 Canadian University Men’s Rugby Championship!
No. 1 seeds UBC Thunderbirds defeated RMC Paladins 66-0 in Wednesday’s quarter-final, and will face Queen’s Gaels in Friday’s semi-finals. No. 3 seeds UVic Vikes dominated Dalhousie Men’s Rugby Club 72-0 to book a semi-final against Guelph.
The Championship takes place November 24-28 at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Games will be hosted at Nixon Field and will be streamed on The Rugby Network and Queen’s University’s YouTube channel. The tournament, first introduced in 2017, features eight men’s teams from around the country.
