Welcome to the BC Rugby 2025/26 Senior Club Season page. Here you will find all information related to the 2025/26 Senior Club Season, including Playoff Formats and key dates for the year.
The Senior Club Rugby season traditionally starts in September and ends with the Club Finals in May. Club Rugby is the lifeblood of Rugby in BC. With over 60 registered Clubs in the Province, there is usually lots of competitive XVs and 7s action taking place throughout the year.

2025/26 Senior Club Structures
Below outlines the structures of the seven divisions for the 2024/25 Senior Club League Competitions. Division structure and formats have been developed based on feedback from Clubs to ensure alignment with BC Rugby’s Strategic Priorities and providing a product which is fit for purpose for all those involved in our game.
All games and game times will be published on Sportlomo and can be found in the BC Rugby App. Please refer to Sportlomo or the BC Rugby app for the most up to date information.
Senior Men’s Leagues
Men’s Premier League
The Men’s Premier League features 10 Teams and is the Elite Men’s league competing under Premier League rules. All teams will contest 17 games apart from the Pacific Pride, who will contest 9 Games. All games will count towards final standings for Playoffs.
Men’s Division 1
The Men’s Division 1 features 18 Teams split across Mainland and Vancouver Island regions and is a competitive league aimed at growing and developing established XVs teams. These teams will compete under the Club Competition Rules. All games will count towards final standings for Playoffs. Quarter-Finals will be regional, with Teams then crossing over for Semi-Finals.
Men’s Division 2
The Men’s Division 2 features 10 Teams and is aimed at an entry point for Club programs that consistently field more than 15 players supporting Clubs to develop their more established programs. These teams will compete under the Club Competition Rules. Teams will play each other home and away. All games will count towards final standings for Playoffs.
Men’s Division 3
The Men’s Division 3 features 11 Teams aimed at supporting multi-team Clubs developing teams with new or growing programs with a lens on participation and developing programs throughout the province. These teams will compete under the Club Competition Rules. All games will count towards final standings for Playoffs.
Senior Women’s Leagues
Women’s Premier League
The Women’s Premier League will be contested by 8 teams across 13 rounds competing under Premier League rules. All games will count towards final standings for Playoffs.
Women’s Division 1
The Women’s Division 1 will be contested by 10 teams across 12 rounds with fixtures confirmed to help ease travel. These teams will compete under the Club Competition Rules. All games will count towards final standings for Playoffs.
Women’s Division 2 (Tier 1)
The Women’s Division 2 features 8 Teams with the aim to support developing teams with new or growing programs, primarily focused on smaller format games with a lens on participation and developing programs throughout the province. All games will count towards final standings for Playoffs.
2025/26 Senior Club Schedules
BC Rugby is delighted to announce the 2025/26 Senior Club Schedules have been confirmed for all Divisions. All Clubs have received schedules and fixtures will be uploaded into Sportlomo ahead of the season’s start.

2024/25 Senior Club Season – Key Dates
Here are the key dates for the 2025/26 Senior Club Season!
Several Make-Up weekends take place throughout the season, while there will be no league fixtures on Thanksgiving Weekend (October 11), Family Day weekend (February 14) or Easter Weekend (April 4).
Senior Club Playoffs will start with Quarter-Finals on April 25, Semi-Finals on May 2 and BC Rugby Senior Club Finals on May 9.
The winter break will commence on December 13, 2025 before Leagues start up again on January 17, 2026.

Concussion Modules – Get Prepared For The New Season!
When it comes to Rugby, safety and player welfare is the most important thing. Whether you are playing Senior Rugby for your Club or signing your child up for Rookie Rugby, we want you to have a safe and positive experience. There are lots of resources to help protect both your physical and mental wellbeing in Rugby.

BC Rugby adheres to World Rugby’s policy of “Recognize and Remove” when dealing with concussions or suspected concussions. Anyone on or around the Rugby pitch has a responsibility to be aware of the symptoms of concussion and are encouraged to complete World Rugby’s online Concussion Management module. We strongly encourage parents, guardians, partners or housemates of Rugby players to complete the online module to be informed.
Rugby Canada Club Marketing Toolkit
Rugby Canada has produced a Club Marketing Tool resource to assist Clubs with their marketing and communication needs. The tool is available in English and French.
