BC Rugby is delighted to announce that the 2022 Women’s Premier League Final will headline the BC Rugby Senior Club Finals for the first time in the event’s history, as women’s Rugby takes centre stage in this Rugby World Cup year.
With all 14 Finalists now confirmed, the full seven-match schedule is now confirmed for the 2022 Senior Club Finals this Saturday, May 7, 2022, taking place at South Surrey Athletic Park – the home of Bayside Sharks RFC who will be looking to make the most of their home field advantage in their two Championship matches.
It will be an action-packed day of top club rugby, taking place across two side-by-side pitches, with the first match of the day kicking off at 11:00am with the Men’s Division 3 Final, shortly followed by the Women’s Division 2 Final getting underway at 11:45am.
“This has been a tremendously difficult season and all credit must go to the many players, coaches, therapists, team managers and volunteers that have made it to the finish line. These Finals will also be a celebration of how we’ve all worked hard for the game that we love.” BC Rugby CEO Annabel Kehoe
A total of 11 Clubs will be represented across the day with another Senior Club Finals first with the Men’s and Women’s Premier League Finals being contested by same sides.
