U19 Canadian Rugby Championship

Taking place at the University of British Columbia on July 30-August 6, 2023, the U19 National Tournament returns to BC and will feature both a Men’s and Women’s Competition.

Both BC Bears teams will face strong competition against their counterparts from the Alberta Wolfpack, Ontario Blues, Rugby Quebec and the Atlantic Selects. The BC Bears U19 Men’s side goes into this year’s tournament as defending champions, having lifted the trophy at the 2022 Canadian Rugby Championships in Guelph, Ontario.

Both the BC Bears U19 Men’s and Women’s squads were selected following numerous identification sessions and development camps held throughout BC, and the culmination of the 2023 Provincial Regional Championships.

The Tournament will take place on the Championship field in front of UBC’s Gerald McGavin Centre and will be free for the public to watch.
