Are you ready for the 2023 Western Canadian Championships?
Taking place in Alberta on August 4-6, the 2023 Western Canadian Championships will be hosted at the Calgary Rugby Club and will see four BC Bears provincial representative teams compete for top honours across U16 and U18 Boys and Girls divisions against Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Atlantic and the USA’s Pacific Northwest Loggers.
The 2023 Western Canadian Championships promises to be an exciting and highly-competitive event, featuring some of the best young Rugby talent in Western Canada. The purpose of the Western Canadian Championships is to foster the growth of competitive Rugby and provide an important pathway step through best-on-best Age-Grade competition to develop athletes towards National Team honours.
The Championships aim is to provide an appropriate development stage of competition to motivate, challenge and inspire young players, as well as Coaches and Officials.

Fields 1 and 2
Rugby Alberta will be livestreaming all games on Fields 1 and 2 throughout the tournament. Click here to visit the Rugby Alberta YouTube page.
Fields 3 and 4
BC Rugby will be livestreaming BC Bears matches scheduled for Fields 3 and 4 throughout the weekend, and uploading onto our YouTube channel afterwards.
Matches will be streamed using the VEO Live App. We will upload all videos to YouTube after the event.
