Club History

CORE was founded in January of 2010. It was designed to grow and develop the sport of rugby in the Central Okanagan. CORE serves rugby enthusiasts, players, coaches, referees, trainer/managers in four Canadian communities – Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland, and West Kelowna. Focused on three key types of rugby - 15-a-side rugby, sevens rugby, and touch rugby.

Our Values

CORE plans to develop the infrastructure to achieve our vision by focusing on four key strategic areas. Development - building a youth touch sevens league to provide a foundation for all local rugby. Excellence - providing off-season training opportunities to dedicated elite rugby athletes. Sustainability - diversifying sources of rugby funding within the community. Community - re-connecting all local rugby enthusiasts to the sport they love.
