RUGBY 7s PATHWAY AND KEY DATES
Taking place across a busy summer of Rugby for both our athletes and coaches, the BC Summer Games represents an important stage of the Rugby 7s pathway in BC.
For aspiring female athletes interested in Rugby 7s, the Games provides a great opportunity for U17 girls (birth years 2007-2008) to stake their claim for selection for the upcoming BC Bears U18 Girls 7s Program heading to the 2024 Global Youth Sevens in December, as well as the Team BC squad that will compete at the 2025 Canada Summer Games in St John’s, Newfoundland.
The BC Summer Games is also an important tournament for athletes wanting to put themselves in contention for the 2025 Commonwealth Youth Games.
