BC Rugby is delighted to announce that crossover 2022 BC Rugby Age-Grade Club Finals will take place on Sunday, December 4 at Cowichan Rugby Club in Duncan.

The culmination of the 2022 Age-Grade Club season will mark the return of the crossover finals – where champions from Vancouver Island face champions from the Lower Mainland – for the first time since 2019. We are working closely with the Cowichan Valley Junior Rugby Development Society to deliver the event.

Clubs will contest their respective Mainland and Island Age-Grade Finals on Sunday, November 27, with the winners advancing to the crossover finals in Duncan the following week.

Finals on December 4 will feature championship matches for U16 and U18 Boys and Girls Divisions, with the respective Mainland and Island champions battling it out at Cowichan Rugby Club.

As part of the long-term athlete development pathway, U14 Teams will contest Mainland and Island Finals on November 27. This is following the decision to adjust the Age-Grade Bandings for the 2022/23 season and beyond to align with the 2022 Rugby Canada Age-Grade Law Variations and the current BC Bears pathway.

Age-Grade Club Finals were held in December 2021 but were regionalised to the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, with the Island Finals held at Cowichan Rugby Club.
