2024 Canadian U19 Rugby Championships – Nova Scotia
The BC Bears U19 XVs Squads travel to Wolfville, Nova Scotia, to compete for the Canadian U19 National Championship following extensive preparation and training camps.
Led by Head Coach Greg Clague (Westshore RFC) and Assistant Coaches Dan Haynes (UBCO Heat) and Noah Pryce-Baff (Kats RFC), the BC Bears U19 Men aim to regain the National Championship they won in 2022 and will face tough opposition in the Atlantic Rock, Alberta Wolfpack, Rugby Ontario and Rugby Quebec. The Bears finished as bronze medallists in 2023.
The BC Bears U19 Women, led by Julia Sugawara (TWU Spartans/Burnaby Lake RFC) and Matt Fraser (Meraloma RFC), will be looking to build on last year’s fifth-place finish and will face Atlantic Selects, Alberta Wolfpack, Rugby Ontario and Rugby Quebec.
Squad selections were confirmed following the conclusion of the 2024 Provincial Regional Championships, with both teams participating in several training camps ahead of departure for Nova Scotia.
