viaSport Play Safe Community Summit (Coaches and Technical Leaders)

viaSport and the BC Regional Sport Alliance are excited to have partnered to host the Play Safe Community Summits on November 1, 2 and 3. These events are an opportunity to come together with the objective of making sport safer for everyone.

Attendees will hear and be heard; sharing their understanding, challenges, ideas and needs around safe sport. This will be a safe space for athletes, coaches and technical leaders, and people who work in sport organizations to learn and share about how they get their information about safe sport. We will also identify tools and resources to adapt to the changing landscape. Mental health services will be available on site throughout the session.

Hosted by members of the BC Regional Alliance, events will take place all across the province on three evenings from 5:50 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.:

• Nov 1: For youth athletes (ages 12 to 23)
• Nov 2: For coaches and technical leaders
• Nov 3: For people working in local sports organizations
