This past July, Canada’s Women’s Sevens Team won a historic silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics, with a record-breaking crowd in attendance – the largest ever at a women’s Rugby match.
Several players from the squad are poised to make their mark on the international stage once again with Canada’s Women’s Rugby Team at WXV this fall. We invite you to be part of the action and support our players on the journey to the 2025 Rugby World Cup.

BC Rugby will be running a 50/50 between September 28-October 12 during World Rugby’s WXV 1 tournament with proceeds supporting the development of Rugby across BC!
We need positive, confident volunteers to sell 50/50 Draw tickets during the following dates and times:
Saturday, September 28 – BC Place
- 11:00am – 3:00pm
- 3:00pm – 6:00am
Sunday, September 29 – BC Place
- 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Saturday, October 5 – Langley Events Center
- 11:00am – 3:00pm
- 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Sunday, October 6 – Langley Events Center
- 12:00pm – 3:00pm
Friday, October 11 – BC Place
- 11:30am – 3:00pm
Saturday, October 12 – BC Place
- 3:00pm – 6:00pm
- 6:00pm – 9:00pm
