BC Rugby is delighted to announce that the 2023 BC Rugby Senior Club Finals will take place at South Surrey Athletic Park, home of Bayside Sharks RFC, on Saturday April 29.
BC Rugby gratefully acknowledges the 2023 Senior Club Finals will take place on the shared, unceded, traditional territory of the Katzie, Semiahmoo and Kwantlen Nations.
For the second successive year, the BC Rugby Senior Club Finals will take place across two fields outside the newly-renovated Bayside Sharks RFC Clubhouse.

Featuring seven provincial finals from BC Rugby’s Senior Leagues, including championship matches for the BC Rugby Women’s Premier League and Men’s Premier League, sponsored by Onni, the flagship season-ending event makes an exciting return to the BC Rugby calendar.

The 2023 event was intended to be hosted the on Vancouver Island but, following consultation with local authorities and stakeholders, there is no suitable venue available that meets the needs of the event.
SEVEN EPIC DIVISIONAL CLUB FINALS
Last year’s event marked the return of the Senior Club Finals to the BC Rugby Calendar following the COVID-19 Pandemic, in which a crowd of nearly 1,000 Rugby fans descended on South Surrey Athletic Park to watch the seven men’s and women’s Finals.
The 2023 event promises to be action-packed, with Teams heading into Playoffs in March. The epic Finals that will be held on April 29th include:
- Men’s Premier League, sponsored by Onni
- Women’s Premier League
- Men’s Division 1
- Women’s Division 1
- Men’s Division 2
- Women’s Division 2 (currently competing as Pool A and Pool B)
- Men’s Division 3

ENJOY RUGBY AT A WORLD-CLASS VENUE
Championship matches will take place in front of Bayside Sharks RFC’s newly-completed Clubhouse, providing Teams and Officials with access to world-class facilities while spectators will enjoy the beautiful surrounding grounds that includes:
- A 19+ beverage garden
- Local food trucks
- Merchandise and apparel from the Rugby Shop
- a VIP area with a private bar
A full day schedule will be released once all finalists are confirmed. Ahead of the event, BC Rugby will be launching a 2023 Senior Club Finals page on its website featuring key information and details, including ticket prices, live streaming link and more.
