BC Rugby is pleased to announce further Open ID and Development Sessions for U19 male athletes (birth year 2003-2004).
Ahead of the 2022 Canadian Rugby U19 Championship beginning July 27th in Guelph, Ontario, U19 Boys Open ID sessions are taking place at Westshore Rugby Club (Langford) and Jericho Beach Park (Vancouver) on Sunday March 13, with a further development day at UBC (Vancouver) on April 3.
One-time registration costs $25 per athlete and covers both March 13 and April 3 sessions – click on the below link to register your place.
Athletes must be registered as a BC Rugby Member to participate in any of these camps. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the session start times for registration and bring cleats/water bottles.
“Our first round of these Identification and development sessions was a great starting point. It was so exciting to see 80 young talented athletes between the Island and mainland that are keen to put themselves forward for our BC Bears U19 team competing this August in the National Championship. We are hoping these next two rounds will ensure we see as many potential athletes as possible leading towards some trial games we are planning for this spring.” BC Bears U19 Boys Head Coach Jared Barker
