High-Performance Summer Camps to be held across BC’s four major regions in July 2021
May 26, 2021 – Vancouver, BC: It’s been a long time coming – but we’re excited to be getting Rugby back this summer.
BC Rugby is holding four High-Performance Summer Camps throughout the Province’s major regions this July.
Following the return of outdoor team sports as part of the BC Government’s Restart Plan, High-Performance Camps will be held in BC’s Fraser Valley, Interior, Vancouver Coastal Health and Island regions this summer.
The High-Performance camp offers elite coaching for male and female athletes, born 2002 to 2006. Training groups will be split by gender and age but spaces are limited! Each training group has a maximum of 40 athletes, so make sure you sign up now!
Rugby experience is NOT required, so if you’re feeling a little rusty, don’t worry! And if you have friends who are strong athletes that would like to give Rugby a go, please invite them to sign up too!
Total cost for the four-day camp is $200. This includes BC Rugby branded gift, snacks, high performance instruction with experienced, paid coaches, on-site medical support, and an officiated Touch Rugby tournament on the final day of the Camps, as well as all insurance and excess medical coverage.
